Knocked Up

My friend Anton discovered the existence of this blog, so, even if it's highly unlikely that he will come again to read this, I will do this post in engrish.
That because I would like to talk about Knocked Up, a movie that I've seen at Anton's place two days ago.
The movie is quite funny, in certain parts *very* funny, and I think it's worth watching for a quiet afterdinner. The only thing that puzzled me a little is that this film is both progressive and conservative.
It's progressive because there is a widespread use of drugs (marijuana) by the main character and his friends, that run all thru the movie *without* any particular moral consequence. I liked this, because the fact some of the characters use drugs offers a lot of the funny sketches, and the fact there is no attempt to judge in no way, positive or negative, this fact .. well .. keeps the sketches just funny. It's a good thing that in a funny comedy one can use controversial arguments just for the fun of it, without be forced to express a moral opinion.
On the other hand the movie it's quite conservative: it offers a view of the family perfectly in line with the tradition. It's ok because the plot is funny anyway, but it's worth to notice than all the characters have no doubt about the fact that the child should born and born inside a couple that is in love.
If it wasn't for the first fact (no judge on drugs, just exploit them for funny sketches) I'd conclude that this movie was another conservative propaganda piece disguised by comedy, but maybe it's just that the plot was fun this way, without explore a different concept of family.

Anyhow it's a lot of fun, so watch it.
